Arranging the annual MOT at the same time as a service creates real savings. Many of the checks are duplicated, so an MOT just before the service saves time and money. There’s even an argument to have the MOT early to co-ordinate them for the future – the DVSA approved fee is £54.85 but a MotorEasy MOT is generally £30, so having it six-months early might cost an extra £15 but it will save a lot more in the long run.

Whatever the decision, there are savings to be made. MOT’s can be carried-out up to 30-days before their due dates without affecting the following year’s due date.
